Drums With the drum production we try to generate income for «Chance for Children» and at the same time to give an education to the children. Production Our Drums: Produced using traditional methods, hand made, quality wood from the vicinity, selected goat-skin - all these factors result in a unique and perfect sound! The drums are made with great care in Hebron. The wood is selected in a village about 1 hour away and brought into town. Combined with goat-skin from the northern part of Ghana, the drums are finished. All drums can be carved, with two Adinkra-Symbols, which come traditionally from the Ashanti tribe. The workers are part of our project «Chance for Children» - einem social project for street children. With the proceeds from the drum sale we can continue our work for the children on the streets of Ghana. The wood, called «Twenibu» by the locals, receives the form already in the villages. The goat-skins are sorted and selected. Only the best are used. Iron rings are cut to exact size for every drum.
