The Chance for Children Foundation is a non-profit organisation under Swiss foundation law. The board of trustees currently consists of seven members, who perform their duties on an honorary basis. The president of the foundation board is Daniela Rüdisüli Sodjah.


The following members of the board of trustees are active for Chance for Children:

The foundation is the host organisation of the NGO Chance for Children in Ghana. It is legally registered as a “Company Limited by Guarantee”. The NGO is led by Daniela Rüdisüli Sodjah, Daniel Awuley Nartey and Amon Kotey. Together with the management team, they are responsible for implementing the strategy and reporting to the board of trustees, as well as for the local management.


Currently around 60 Ghanaian women and men work for Chance for Children. In addition, three Europeans and an average of two interns are working for the local organisation. All employees have appropriate qualifications in their respective fields. Chance for Children attaches great importance to fair working conditions, appropriate social benefits and fair wages. In addition, Chance for Children is actively supported by numerous volunteers in Ghana and Switzerland.


The foundation is responsible for the strategic orientation, governance and compliance of the NGO in accordance with its purpose.
