About Chance for Children

Chance for Children is an "International NGO", an international Non-Govermental Organization, founded in 1999 with headquarters in Switzerland and work in Accra, Ghana. The Initiators, Amon Kotey from Ghana and Daniela Rüdisüli Sodjah from Switzerland, form together with Roger Rüdisüli a union according to Swiss law. They are supported by an advisory board which consists of personalities from different areas and with different capabilities.

Meanwhile, 14 ghanaian persons work together with the two initiatores and take care of 38 children and juveniles. The project is sponsored by the sale of the drums which are produced by juveniles in the project, the profits from the CFC-Beauty-Salon and from the CFC-Trotro, and - this is the biggest part - by donations of private persons and collections from Switzerland, the Principality of Liechtenstein, Germany and Austria.

Chance for Children wants to give to the street children in Accra a chance to take control of their life, by giving them love and safety, and by teaching them intellectual and vocational skills.
