SITECO

Siteco is a privately organised non-profit Association which implements projects in the field of vocational education primarily in emerging nations and development countries. We thus render possible a technical or other vocational training for adolescents following the model of “Production based education”, i.e. 75 % training in companies, 25% education in vocational schools, graduating with diploma or certificate.” Our policy is to provide “support for self-support”, from the educational basic training up to the capability to prove one’s worth on the labour market. This implies the conveyance of knowledge, skills, ethical behaviour and values.

International Justice Mission (IJM)

IJM’s mission is to protect people in poverty from violence by rescuing victims, bringing criminals to justice, restoring survivors to safety and strength, and helping local law enforcement build a safe future that lasts.

Chance for Children is partnering with IJM Ghana to advocate for vulnerable and exploited children and tackle issues of children protection and the rehabilitation of trafficked children

Kinder Paradise

Kinder Paradise

Kinder Paradise provides a safe place and education for vulnerable children and teenagers in Osu-Accra, and Prampram, Ghana.

For more than 20 years Chance for Children has been working with Kinder Paradise in close partnership and trusting cooperation. We have conducted mutual programs for children and staff, and maintain a fruitful culture of exchange on Management and Directive level.

Muslim Family Council Services

Muslim Family Council Services (MFCS)

The MFCS provides information and services on population, reproductive health, income generating activities and prevention of sexual transmission infections within deprived communities in Ghana.

Over the years we have established a close working relationship with MFCS who provides the training for the CFC street workers and Street Champions.

Zürich University of Teacher Education

Zürich University of Teacher Education (PH Zürich)

The PH Zürich is one of Switzerland’s largest teacher education institutions and a leading centre of expertise for schools, teachers and educational authorities.

The «Chance for Children» project is part of the social commitment of the Zürich University of Teacher Education. On a voluntary basis lecturers train CFC’s teachers and social workers and support the NGO with professional advice for their future development.

Safe-Child Advocacy

Safe-Child Advocacy

Safe-Child Advocacy, Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi (formerly known as Street Children Project) supports children in street and other vulnerable situations reintegrate into community and access formal education or skill training and become economically and socially independent.

Chance for Children and Safe-Child Advocacy collaborates in Kumasi on planning and conducting effective street work.

ID Ghana

ID Ghana offers very low-income entrepreneurs in Greater Accra the opportunity to join a business loan group providing microloans for enterprise, the ability to save income and regular trainings on a wide variety of business and financial literacy topics.

In collaboration with International Development Ghana (ID-GHANA), we were able to give families a chance to realize income-generating activities.

HES-SO

The School of Social Work (HSA) of the Hes-So Valais/Wallis

The School of Social Work (HSA) of the Hes-So Valais/Wallis is part of the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland and offers training and further education in the social field.

As a practical organisation, CFC trains students from the HSA and develops joint projects that are conducive to a transfer of knowledge and further the development of the organisation.
